Green was one of the most versatile, accomplished and decorated track and field athletes in WSU track and field history and earned the nickname "Franchise" from Coach Sloan after her freshman season. Sloan considered Green a student coach during the five-year period she competed at WSU because of the way she helped younger athletes with their mechanics and techniques.
